International Womens Day AI Summit - March 2026

In partnership with Women of AI Agency

True fact: Only 20% of women work in AI.
Another true fact: These 20% represent such talent and expertise that it almost makes up for the remaining 80% (almost!).

Out of these 20%, we had 10 phenomenal speakers attend our first IWD AI Summit hosted in partnership with Women of AI Agency.

The event was graced with 120+ women from across the UK who heard from our exceptional speakers. These speakers have:

◆ Led Responsible AI at Google
◆ Governed AI across the Admiral Group Plc Group

◆ Generated £75M+ in verified client results for companies like Salesforce, Toyota Motor Corporation, GSK and Mitsubishi Corporation.
◆ Trained 1000's+ professionals in practical AI implementation
◆ Built fast-growing AI start-ups
◆ Advised NATO, governments and global corporates such as Rolls-Royce
◆ Set the strategic direction for Technology, Data, and AI implementation at The Guardian, British Airways and Royal Mail
◆ Driven policy initiatives in the UK cyber security sector
◆ Led AI implementation across cross-functional teams at HSBC.

We had our very own Founder, Toju Duke, talk about AI’s benefits for business and society, the challenges facing AI, and how to work with AI while mitigating its risks. And our very own Oriana Medlicott, Diverse AI’s partnerships lead also spoke about AI governance and compliance, and how to navigate the EU AI Act.

Hearing sound, practical advice and tips on AI implementation and deployment, including AI literacy with a live demo from Heather Murray, and hearing the correlation between AI and a needle from Saba Segal Shaukat, gave the event such an interesting twist!

The amazing Caroline Gorski talked about governance & risk, and we had a very lively and informative panel discussion with Pooja Jain, Pooja Bagga, Alice Walton and Aurora Kapo.

Julia Belle was an exceptional host, bringing in such energy, engagement and conversation into the mix.

Hands-up to the wonderful team from Women of AI Agency - Sharona Hutton, Craig McCartney and Jamie-Lee Hutton who made the event a resounding success!

Diversity in AI is possible.

Gender diversity in AI is crucial.
